Alexander isak seals Liverpool transfer after expertly upsetting Newcastle fans — proving some bridges are meant to be burned no matter what.
Isak was the best striker in the premier league 24/25 season scoring 23 goals and giving 6 assists , he was undoubtedly Newcastle's best player and fan favourite, until recently anyway 😏😏
From what we understand he was not made himself available until late july , Liverpool have signed ekitike for 80m+ hijacking Newcastle , they're not aware isak would be available this window , same with Arsenal as they have moved on to gyokeres.
The Drama began with isak not travelling to pre-season tour in asia , then liverpool getting a bid rejected closer to 110m pounds , isak was training alone pushing for the move , not attending pfa awards ceremony by posting out a cryptic dig at Newcastle (agent driven strategy that),finally gets his move done for British record fee of 130m.
Scoring 60+ goals in 3 seasons at Newcastle , in our opinion both sides should have parted ways on better terms not making fans angry.
Nevertheless, he now has the opportunity to thrive further at Liverpool , as they play both transition and possession based football.
