Benjamin Sesko joins Man United

Sesko joins Man United after all the transfer drama this summer window .
His contract included a Release clause reported to be around £55 million during the 2024 summer transfer window , which Arsenal were ready to trigger but he wanted to stay at Leipzig to further his development , as per multiple reports he wasn't sure of displacing Kai Havertz as a striker 😕(like come on bro if you're unsure of displacing havertz then you don't believe you're ready ??)
Anyways , sesko signed a contract extension in june 2024 further increasing his Release clause which can alter from 65m - 82m , Arsenal reportedly held talks with Leipzig earlier in this window but Leipzig were demanding closer to 82m and his agent reportedly presented him as Messi ilk (i.e maybe huge wages and commissions) so that didn't materialize , Later Newcastle agreed a fee around 75m but didn't agree terms with sesko , Man united swooped in agreed a fee worth around 72m and Sesko made his preference to join Man united.
Now Sesko , what do we know and think of him ? He has potential to be a Top CF in future , Top Athleticism , Pace , Box Dominance , Heading , Ball striking on both feet , Variant finishing , all the good tools needed he has .
He won 2 League titles with RB Salzburg scoring 15+ goals while also playing UCL this where people took notice of him . In 2023 he signed for RB Leipzig , scoring 30+ goals in 2 seasons establishing his name

Positives - He's clearly Overperforming his Xg and Xa in a sub optimal environment (leipzig used 2 striker system Aerially he's top that reflects in stats , taking shots from all angles in total shots , what surprised which we didn't notice is his ability to take on players which is good and he can be bit creative as well because of that 2 striker system he played.
Cons things to improve - Physically he can he bullied out by defenders , Link-up play needs developing , mainly he needs to score more 13 -14 league goals in bundesliga to how many in premier league
Ruben Amorim needs to develop him further by easing him in , different system in 3 4 3 , it may take some time to see the level of sesko , fans have to remember Man united paid that big fee for his potential , he's still developing and already at a good base level We have no doubt he has potential and he could already hit the ground running provided good optimal environment We welcome Sesko to Man United 🔴🔴
